CD15

Methodology: IHC

Clinical Significance:
A cytoplasmic- and cell surface-associated protein that is strongly expressed by granulocytes at the promyelocyte and later stages, and is expressed at lower levels on monocytes/histiocytes. CD15 is aberrantly coexpressed by myeloid blasts in a subset of myeloid stem cell neoplasms. In addition, CD15 is expressed in a membrane and/or Golgi pattern in the majority of cases of classical Hodgkin lymphoma. Finally, CD15 is expressed by a subset of normal and neoplastic epithelia.

Subcellular Localization: Membranous
