Methodology: IHC

Clinical Significance:
Identifies a heterodimeric protein associated with clearance of cell debris and apoptosis. It is expressed in diffuse large B-cell lymphomas (DLBCL), T-cell rich large B-cell lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, as well as various carcinomas. Clusterin has proven to be an effective tool in the differentiation of anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) from peripheral T cell lymphoma (PTCL), NOS.

Subcellular Localization: Cytoplasmic, in a granular diffuse and/or a Golgi pattern

Specimen Requirements:
• Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue block or cell block - OR -
