Identifies: Epithelial membrane protein (EMA), a transmembrane glycoprotein encoded by the MUC1 gene. Expression of EMA can assist in the identification of metastatic v. primary cancers in the liver, nerve sheath tumors, meningioma, anaplastic large cell lymphoma, and other tumors.
