Clinical Significance:
Identifies: A non-lineage-specific nuclear transcription factor expressed in normal mature B cells at several stages of development, and in a variety of non-Hodgkin lymphomas, but not in Hodgkin lymphomas. FOXP1 is used as part of a panel of markers in immunohistochemical distinction of germinal center-derived diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) from non-germinal center-derived DLBCL.
