Clinical Significance:
Identifies: Inhibin-alpha, a hormone component that joins either the beta A or beta B subunit to form a pituitary FSH secretion inhibitor. It is expressed by, and can be used as a marker of, granulosa cells and granulosa cell and other sex cord stromal tumors, as well as adrenal cortical cells and tumors.

Specimen Requirements:
• Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue block or cell block - OR -
