INPP4B pin

Methodology: IHC

Clinical Significance:
INPP4B encodes the inositol polyphosphate 4-phosatase type II, one of the enzymes involved in phosphatidylinositol signaling pathways. This antibody is useful as a diagnostic aid for basal like breast carcinomas, as the absence of expression of INPP4B, has been shown in our hands to have a 90% sensitivity and 80% specificity for basal-like breast carcinomas, which closely reflects the reported literature. INPP4B will be run in a panel with other antibodies used in the diagnosis of basal-like breast carcinomas, such as, Nestin, Keratin 5, and c-kit. Subcellular Localization: membranous and cytoplasmic
